Day 235

Eeeeek--it's 10 and I have just now stopped doing stuff. School all day then out to dinner for dad's birthday. After that went grocery shopping for International Day tomorrow. I made "Afghan biscuits" (they taste like chocolate cookies with cornflakes). They are AMAZING!! I also taste tested with LJ the "fairy bread" that I am going to feed my kids tomorrow. Get this... fairy bread is simply bread with margarine and sprinkles. It sounds not the best, but it really isn't all that bad. Too bad kids have allergies at school... nutella or peanut butter would be SO much better! Fairy bread is used at kids birthday parties in Australia---pretty cool! I am going to bed. Tomorrow is gonna be a long one, but in a good way :)

Day 234

Things are looking up. 2 more days left in the week. I can do it! I can do it! It's 7:22 and I am about to go to bed. I can't even begin to express how excited that makes me. Goodnight!

Picture: This represents how thoughtful one of my friends is. I am always asking her if I can borrow her witeout roll because it is so cool looking. Not to mention, it's pink! She handed it to me today and told me to keep it because she has two others. REALLY?? I can't do that. I declined the offer because it made me feel too guilty. I knew how much she loved it. Plus it gives me a reason to bother her every day :). Also, she did me another favor before I could ever ask her the favor. She is one of the hardest working people that I know. I am pretty sure she'd do anything for anyone... well, anyone she liked haha. Thanks to you. You don't get enough thanks and I just want to dedicate my post to you for being all around awesome in so many ways!

Day 232

Happy things (PLURAL):
-sharing top 3 class for Stepping Stones with my class (they literally screamed with the news!)
-watching my kids jump like little Australian kangaroos in the International parade
-completing a project I've been working for a few days
-making a cute Australian animals activity with my class
-Laura making dinner AGAIN for us! :)
-getting attacked with love by Ottie as I walked through the door

Sad thing (SINGLULAR):
-missing Josh's class because of the weather-- No me gusta hail!! :( SO LAME!!

Oh well, at least I get to spend more time with my roommates and catch up on some celebrity news (E!). Dancing with the Stars is also on my list of things to do tonight!

Day 231

Today was super productive. I graded papers, entered grades, then debated whether or not I should enter them online. Decided I was too tired after all that hard work so I said no way. Waited from mama to get home from Auburn so we could eat lunch. She brought home sandwiches for us. I only visited with her for like 20 minutes then I had to bolt out. I had to take my roommate to get her car, pick up paper towel rolls from two of my friends places (awesome friends!! it's for a class art project), and head to my new step class....

I was told this step teacher was pretty much a crazy fun time, but I don't think I truly believed all that he could be. WOW! First of all, let me tell you that I was warned by his nicknames last week, but I forgot about it today. My friend that usually goes says that he calls her "hair thingy" because she is always adjusting her hair during the workout. Of course, I wear my most obnoxious shirt today. It's my Salty Dog Cafe colorful tie dye shirt. I mean this thing is LOUD. Well, he was loving my shirt so much that he called me "Woodstock" the whole class. Like I mean the WHOLE class. "Woodstock, look at those moves." "Woodstock, this is our last song." So at the end of class, I told him "thanks" and that I had heard great things about his class. He asked me my name, but then proceeded to tell me that I look more like a "Woodstock" so there is no way I am getting out of this one. I like his quirky/smart remarks. I know I'll be returning, but I also know no one will fulfill my love for Josh! :)

Day 230

Woke up, ate breakfast, worked on some school stuff, got some lunch, then went to get my haircut....

I am used to my salon having people with crazy hair, but not this. The person who cut my hair had brigggghhhttt purple locks. I truly thought I was going to end up with it too. LISTEN TO THIS! So she's cutting, cutting, cutting... which creates a pile of my hair in my lap. She notices by my expression that I am a speck grossed out that it is on me so she BLOWS it with the blow dryer off my lap. You're thinking, "oh that's nice!"? Wrong!!! My purse I brought today doesn't have a zipper. Those millions of pieces of hair went in my purse! So guess what I get to do tonight? Yup! I get to clean out my purse! She didn't even notice and I didn't have the heart to react. I just simply thought to myself, "Awesome for me!" My haircut is what I wanted though... 3 inches shorter and thinned out. Maybe people won't confuse me for getting extensions anymore :)

Tonight, I am pretty sure it's a pizza and Georgia game night with dad. I plan on running in my hood tonight too for old times sake. I came home to get some work done, but I am 75% in the process of getting persuaded to do something with friends in ATL. We shall see! Hope everyone had a fabulous day!

PS-jealous of my fam that's at the AU game tonight. Warrrrr Eagle!
